Many in the industry recognize Mirakl as the pioneer and leader in enterprise marketplace platforms, a distinction that has come through our continuous technology innovation.

That's why we’re thrilled to announce today that Mirakl was named as a finalist for the SaaS Awards in the “Best SaaS Product for E-Commerce / E-Shops” category. Administered by the Cloud Awards, the SaaS Awards recognize Software-as-a-Service providers throughout the world “based on global reach and celebration of innovation.”

Hundreds of SaaS providers from across the globe applied for this edition of the SaaS Awards, and just eight companies were named today as finalists in the eCommerce category. We’re proud of this recognition in particular because it speaks to two areas where we’ve made tremendous strides in the last year: expanding our global reach and introducing new innovations to the Mirakl Marketplace Platform.

Enterprise marketplace software that’s always evolving

Today, marketplaces are growing at twice the rate of eCommerce. And as the industry’s first and most advanced enterprise marketplace SaaS platform, we know firsthand that launching and scaling  a successful marketplace is about more than just offering a wider assortment of products.

Making the most of the marketplace model involves everything from seamless onboarding to customer care, product curation, and international expansion. This recognition from the SaaS Awards comes on the heels of our latest suite of new product features to better support every aspect of operating a marketplace, including:

  • Our recent acquisition of Target2Sell, an AI-backed solution for eCommerce personalization

  • FastTrack Onboarding to rapidly add hundreds of third-party sellers

  • Payout to simplify global payouts and compliance for international operators; and

  • Customer Care Intelligence to automate escalation and intervention in customer incidents

Building momentum for marketplace platforms

Of course, in addition to developing new features and services, we are also working tirelessly to bring the marketplace model to new regions and customer bases. This year has already marked a number of exciting expansions, including our partnership with Japan Cloud to launch Mirakl K.K.in Japan. This partnership builds on our existing service in the APAC region, including customers across Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, and Singapore.

We recently announced new executive hires to guide our continued growth in the Americas and throughout the world. Most recently, Mirakl named Alex Hase as general manager and executive vice president of sales for the Americas and APAC. With nearly three decades of experience in building sales organizations, Alex will be responsible for scaling Mirakl’s growth in North America, South America, Australia and New Zealand.

Alex’s hiring followed the appointment of two new C-level executives in April of this year: Eric Heurtaux, who joined Mirakl as chief financial officer following a successful tenure as CFO at Worldline; and Patrick Houry, who joined Mirakl as chief human resources officer from Akka Technologies.

Breakthrough moments for the digital-first economy

From the Americas to Europe to Japan to Australia and everywhere in between, consumers and businesses are spending more online than ever before. With Mirakl’s enterprise marketplace SaaS platform, any business can rapidly meet those buyers’ needs – and exceed their rising expectations. Thank you to all of  our team members, partners and customers who continue to help us grow into one of the world’s flagship eCommerce businesses.
