Krefeld, 29.06.2022 - Fressnapf Group, the European market leader for pet supplies, has today launched its marketplace powered by Mirakl, the industry's first and most advanced enterprise marketplace SaaS platform. The marketplace is another step in the group’s digital transformation strategy aimed at creating an ecosystem that uniquely connects products and services across stores, online and mobile to create a one-stop shop for animal lovers in Europe.  

The launch of the marketplace is the first time that the group has opened up its German online store to third-party suppliers.

In launching the marketplace, Fressnapf is responding to customer demand and offering a customer-oriented, curated range of innovative products. As part of the company’s omnichannel strategy, marketplace products will soon be available in stores via an ordering service, therefore also significantly expanding assortment in stores. 

The marketplace is currently available in the German online store, with plans to roll it out internationally in the future.
