Hiring process

Here's what you can expect when you apply

Step 1

Application

Explore jobs and submit your application online. Our team will review your resume.

Step 2

Phone screen

If you are selected, you will be invited to a first interview with a recruiter.

Step 3

Interviews

If successful, you will then meet the hiring manager and a few future colleagues (on-site or via Zoom). Your expertise and fit with our core values will be assessed. Interviews will follow the STAR method and assess your skills as well as your alignment with the company's values.

Step 4

Evaluation

Your interviewers will debrief internally to discuss all elements of your background. Then you will receive a final decision within two weeks.

Step 5

Welcome!

Once you accept our offer, we will keep in touch to ease the onboarding process.

It depends on the role. For Go-To-Market positions: a call with a recruiter, an interview with the hiring manager, then STAR-based interviews. For Labs (Tech) positions: a recruiter call, a technical assessment or case study, a manager interview, then STAR-based interviews. We aim to move fast and keep you informed at every step.

We use the STAR method to structure our interviews. It stands for Situation, Task, Action, Result. It helps us explore your past experiences and understand how they reflect your skills and alignment with our values. Nothing tricky, just a clear way to have a meaningful conversation.

Yes. Most teams work in a hybrid setup that combines office time with remote flexibility. The exact arrangement depends on the role and location.

Every new hire gets a Launch Plan with initial tasks, role expectations, and key resources. You'll be paired with a Buddy from another team to help you get settled. And all new employees go through a Bootcamp covering Mirakl's culture, vision, and values with the leadership team.

AI is part of how we work, and that includes hiring. We use it to write better job descriptions, automate scheduling, and improve your experience as a candidate. But hiring decisions are always made by people, never by algorithms. We hold ISO/IEC 27018 certification and never use candidate data to train AI models. We expect the same transparency from you.

Absolutely. Use AI to research Mirakl, practice questions, organize your thoughts, or polish your resume. Just make sure everything you share is accurate and reflects your real experience.

No. During phone, video, or on-site interviews, do not use AI to generate or read answers. We want to hear your own thinking.

You can use AI for research and brainstorming, but the final work must be yours. Be ready to explain your reasoning and defend your conclusions. Please disclose any significant AI assistance.

AI tools are not allowed unless the instructions explicitly say so. If they are, use them openly and be prepared to explain your approach and modify the solution on the spot.
