Available on the Carrefour.fr website, this marketplace will feature +100 retailers and up to +100k products that will complement its daily product offering by the end of 2020. Thanks to this online marketplace, Carrefour allows easy access to a complementary offer, while enabling vendor partners to display their catalogue on its site.
Uniting partners on Carrefour marketplace
Developed in partnership with Mirakl, the world-leading marketplace provider, Carrefour marketplace provides a truly compelling and innovative e-grocery shopping experience.
In early June, Carrefour launched their marketplace on its French site, which aims to boost sales on the Carrefour.fr website by offering complementary products that correspond to trends observed amongst its eCommerce customers, such as organic, natural, healthy, gourmet foods, local / regional items, international goods, gluten-free and salt-free products. The product categories include: grocery items, beverages (wine, beer, spirits, soft drinks), hygiene/ beauty care, pet supplies, and child care items.
This marketplace allows Carrefour.fr customers to find their everyday products, as well as discover new items or more ‘gourmet’ goods, sold by vendor partners.
Carefully selected for the quality of their products and services, vendor partners are able to share their expertise, allowing customers to discover their brands and range of goods. The multitude of products on a single website saves consumers a large amount of time and their orders can be delivered directly to their doors throughout France.
