Introducing Katchin, the first-ever global marketplace created specifically for jewellery and watches

Today, the first global marketplace created specifically for jewellery and watches, Katchin, announced its launch in the UK. Built for the accessory lover, Katchin brings the most sought-after names together in a one-stop-shop with curated content and how-to style guides to showcase the marketplace’s vast array of styles and brands. 

Katchin is an entirely new way to shop for accessories, curating its brands and products on a dedicated marketplace, shoppable in a way that is unique to jewellery and watches. The new platform was built with support from category leader and backing partner, Fossil Group, and leading enterprise marketplace technology company, Mirakl. 

In Western Europe alone, the jewellery and watch sectors are predicted to grow between 5% and 7% in the next year, representing roughly 13 billion Euros in consumer spending. [1] Dedicated category marketplace, Katchin, is poised to capitalize on this growth, with expansion planned in France and Germany throughout 2023.

Driven by insights gleaned from extensive global research, the content-driven site meets consumers’ longing for a deeper connection to the products they buy. Katchin features the origin stories behind the brands and an evolving range of curated style edits, how-to inspiration and gift guides. The platform also offers a unique approach to categorization, allowing its product range to be discovered through expansive category filters such as stone type, material and a range of watch movement types, thus increasing searchability.

Curating both well-established and up-and-coming names, Katchin has partnered with over 70 brands to date. Notable brands include iconic designers like Emporio Armani and Issey Miyake, as well as watch and jewelry specialists, like Otazu, Ania Haie, Festina, and Rotary.
