CONTEXT & OBJECTIVES
Eprice decided to launch its marketplace to implement its strategy of diversification and growth.
Eprice is now able to offer hundreds of thousands of new products to its customers, without carrying the costs of logistics and inventory. Without added inventory or logistics cost, Eprice is now proposing additional services to third party vendors through its “fulfilled by Eprice” program. The marketplace has enabled the Italian e-retailer to better meet the expectations of its customers by offering them an unrivaled choice, competitive prices, and availability thanks to the Marketplace.
The main challenge of this project was to rapidly launch a Marketplace, while being able to ensure that a maximum number of vendors would be present on the platform within the first few days of the launch. With Mirakl © Catalog Integration, E-price managed to recruit and integrate very diverse third party sellers’ catalogs while maintaining quality service and upholding the E-price brand.
